Transplanting of undifferentiated human embryo stem cells in organotypic cultures of rat heart. Presence of human cells in the rat heart parenchyma, two months after injection. The human cells are positive for human nuclear antigen marking (red). The rat heart tissue is positive for cardiac troponin I marking (green).
