A research engineer at the Neurophysiology and New Microscopies Laboratory* in Paris, Mathieu Ducros is responsible for the development and maintenance of microscopes with which we can observe the brains of mice. Little by little, he has modified these instruments by adding new functionalities to them. He has even invented a new approach to imaging, making it possible to simultaneously capture the activity of several cells.
