To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Inserm is coming to you with the Science Tour! Throughout the year, ten minibuses will be travelling the length and breadth of France in search of tomorrow's scientists. The aim of this mobile educational facility is to make science accessible to all (general public and school pupils). A nationwide network of facilitators will organise a diverse range of scientific activities (experiments, games, modelling, investigations etc.).

The Science Tour is coming to Strasbourg. In its role as a partner of this initiative dreamed up by Les Petits Débrouillards, C’est Pas Sorcier and France Télévision, Inserm will present its virtual museum, short films ("Virus Attack", "POM Bio à croquer" (bite-size multimedia items on biomedical research), "A bord du Nanotilus" (On board the Nanotilus) in 3D) and the "Au cœur de la vie" (At the Heart of Life) exhibition (How does the heart work? What diseases affect it? How are these treated? And most importantly, how can they be prevented?)

You can also take part in a number of activities on board a mobile laboratory, which will help you understand the mechanisms of life.
