Children, adolescents, adults, “early to beds” or “night-owls”... we all have our own sleep patterns. It is a pleasure for some and a nightmare for others. One French person in three complains of problems with sleep, and women seem to be the most strongly affected. However, sleep is an essential need for the development of the brain and for the proper functioning of our metabolism. Problems with sleep are especially disruptive as they influence our daily lives and may have harmful consequences for the health such as irritability, stress, overweight, lack of alertness, etc.

What is sleep for? What are our needs in this regard? How can I get restorative sleep? What sleep disorders can affect us? At what point do I need to seek help? Such are the questions that will be discussed during this science bar.
